What is Hero Flights?

Hero Flights is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit whose mission is to provide free air transportation for combat wounded and their families for medical and other compassionate purposes. We personally fly the veterans in general aviation aircraft. This means many more airports are available to us and we can avoid long security lines and baggage limits. We cater the flights to the needs of the veteran and make every attempt to make the flight and easy as possible. We coordinate everything with the medical staff on the ground so that they know where and when we will be landing and so someone is waiting for the veteran when we arrive.

How much of the donations goes to the veterans?

Hero Flights is 100% volunteer run. No one receives any compensation. Likewise, we work very hard to keep overhead costs low. This ensures that all of the money raised goes towards the mission of flying wounded veterans to their medical appointments.

Who does Hero Flights serve?

Hero Flights servers any post-9/11 combat wounded veteran and their families. We do not discriminate based on race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or otherwise. If you severed in the U.S. military, we will serve you.
